National dog day is coming up, so what better way to celebrate than by spotlighting some of the Vancouver Canucks’ furry friends? These pups have made appearances on their parent’s Instagram accounts, while some have even taken part in the ever-famous Canucks dog races. Take a look at some of these players’ beloved buddies.

Attila Hronek
A Canucks dog race winner in her first go-around in 2023, Filip Hronek’s playful pet is the three-year-old Attila. A staffodshire bull terrier, Hronek got Attila during the COVID-19 pandemic. He’s a big fan of TV and loves watching his dad’s games. With a friendly, people-loving personality, Hronek guesses that Attila’s favourite toy is either a ball or a bone. The Canucks defenceman has no preference on where to walk his dog — but knows that his playful pet likes visiting off-leash spots.
Bubba Garland
Conor Garland got his adorable puppy, Bubba, in his last year playing in Arizona. He described his three-year-old maltipoo as a funny dog, but “not in the ways he thinks.” When answering a fan-written question about what position Bubba would play if he were a hockey player, Garland noted that he would be a winger due to his more diminutive stature.
Milo and Coolie Boeser
Much like how their dad is currently one of the longest-tenured Canucks, Milo and Coolie Boeser are two of the longest-tenured members of the Canucks’ dog club. Coolie, the eldest sibling at six years old, is an Australian cattle dog and German Shepherd husky mix. Milo is four years old and, as noted by Boeser, “doesn’t like to listen sometimes.” Both of Boeser’s pups love trying to grab steak from their dad. Their go-to walking spot around the Lower Mainland, according to Boeser, is Pacific Spirit Park.
Delilah Demko
A fan-favourite with a charming Instagram account, Delilah Demko is the beloved pup of goaltender Thatcher Demko. Delilah is a four-year-old Australian bernedoodle who can be found at plenty of Canucks games. She’s a two-time Canucks dog race champion who is the older sibling to Demko’s adorable son Dawson.

Also a Canucks dog race champion, having won back in 2022, Easton Miller is one of J.T. Miller’s pups. He’s a golden lab who “catches frisbees and will eat anything that the kids drop off the table.”
Gracie Soucy
Not much is known about Canucks defenceman Carson Soucy’s dog, but we do know that she took part in last year’s installment of the Canucks dog race. Gracie Soucy ran once in 2023, ultimately losing to Attila Hronek. During her race, she “asked for lots of treats for Christmas” — and we hope she got them!
Tucker Juulsen
Tucker Juulsen is Noah Juulsen’s good boy. Like Gracie, we don’t know a lot about Tucker other than the fact that he’s a brother-to-be.
