A family of 4 and their dogs are displaced after a Hampton fire

A fire on Gordon Court in Hampton was reported Sunday afternoon.

HAMPTON, Va. — Four people, including two children, were displaced from their Hampton home after a fire on Sunday afternoon.

Units responded to the 400 block of Gordon Court and found heavy fire and smoke coming from the rear of the house. All occupants were accounted for.

The fire was marked under control within 30 minutes of the first arriving unit, Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue Battalion Chief Anthony Chittum said.

The Red Cross is assisting the two adults, two children and two dogs with housing.

The fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire, Chittum said.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
