There were reportedly 10 dogs loose, and police said the animals’ “aggressive nature” required the use of pepper spray. A police sergeant and a firefighter were among the approximately eight people bitten at the scene. No people or dogs were seriously injured.
A female at the scene, who police said was responsible for the dogs, was issued 15 municipal citations and received one criminal offense referral.
