Dogs transported from Los Angeles fire zones ready for adoption in Massachusetts
Nine dogs taken in from Los Angeles animal shelters, as part of a massive relocation effort, are now ready for adoption at the Animal Rescue League of Boston in Dedham, Massachusetts. ARL’s Transport Waggin’ met the plane in Philadelphia on Friday to pick up the dogs and bring them back to ARL’s Dedham Animal Care and Adoption Center.Despite traveling 3,000 miles on a plane and more than 600 miles in a vehicle, the large-breed dogs have settled in quickly, and while fearful, are showcasing their personalities, ARL said.They’ve also adapted to the change of environment, going from sunny California to snowy New England.
