First puppies arrive at Merrimack County Department of Corrections for Hero Pup program

“They have to listen to the puppy; they have to help housebreak it and do all the things you do with a brand-new puppy. And these puppies are 12 weeks old, so there’s a lot to do,” said Laura Barker, founder of Hero Pups.
