In a heartwarming turn of events, four senior dogs displaced by a tragic house fire have been tagged by a rescue organization, ensuring their removal from the euthanasia list at BARC Animal Shelter.
BARC, an open-intake shelter, initially placed the dogs on the at-risk list to signal the need for urgent intervention.

Scout’s Honor Rescue Home then stepped in to tag the four senior dogs, ensuring their removal from the euthanasia list at BARC Animal Shelter.
The dogs, Lucy, Lilly, Rose, and Rex, were brought to the shelter in January after a fire claimed the life of one of their owners and left the other in critical condition.
Despite the challenges they face, including age and health concerns like heartworms, these resilient pups have captured the attention of the community and rescue groups.
