You can hike with a shelter dog every first Sunday of each month

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – The League For Animal Welfare hosted its monthly Hike with a Shelter dog on Sunday morning at Woodland Mound.

The shelter invites the community to walk a shelter dog each month to give them fresh air, exercise, and love.

“I’ve been doing this for two years and it’s not only a wonderful thing for them, but for us as well. I get to experience new parks and get exercise. It’s great to give them a break from the shelter, socialize, and have a fun couple of hours,” shared Devin, a volunteer.

The hikes happen every first Sunday of the month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. If you’re interested in being a volunteer you can email carrie@lfaw.org.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
