Two Arizona dogs to play in this year’s Puppy Bowl

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A couple of pups will represent the Arizona Humane Society in Puppy Bowl XXI.

Jake and Delulu will be playing in the game along with 140 other rescue puppies on Feb. 9 before the Super Bowl.

The brother duo will be on Team Ruff, going against Team Fluff.

Jake and Delulu are shih tzu-miniature poodle mixes and a now 7 months old.

They came to the Arizona Humane Society last year still nursing with their mom after their owner got sick and couldn’t take care of them anymore.

The dog family received care at AHS’ Mutternity Suites until they were strong enough to go into foster homes and then their furever homes.

This is the third straight year and the fourth time overall that AHS has been represented in the big game for canines.

While Jake and Delulu have already found their loving homes, AHS has other adorable pets up for adoption. Click/tap here for more information.

You can watch Puppy Bowl XXI on Animal Planet, truTV, Discovery, Max and more.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
