This Week In Concerts — Toubab Krewe, DJ Pauly D, Lauren Mayberry, Dogs In A Pile and More

It’s looking to be a gorgeous week as we leave January and enter February, and we’ve got some incredible shows around town to celebrate! Here are some choice cuts:

Rising jam band stars Dogs In A Pile have returned to us here in Denver and they’ve planned a rowdy two-night run at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom on 1/31 and 2/1. To start Friday night off right, they’ve got Break Signals on hand, and Saturday evening sees Atlas Radio join the party proper.

Legendary songstress and frontwoman of the incredible alt-pop band CHVRCHES, Lauren Mayberry, has graced Denver with a stop on her Vicious Creature tour—she’ll be enchanting every soul present in the Gothic Theatre on 2/1, and joining that endeavor will be the mysterious Cult Of Venus.

One of the most unique and interesting bands in the jam and festival scene today, Toubab Krewe, is knocking out two incredible nights of music this weekend. They’ll be all the way north in Boulder on 1/31, and then heading to Meow Wolf’s Perplexiplex on 2/1. Featuring musicians who have traveled and trained the length and breadth of Africa, honing their craft and instruments that are rarely seen in Western music, this show won’t be one to miss.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
