Dogs required on leash in all city/county public areas

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) – Mesa County is reminding folks of local laws that require you to have your four-legged friends on a leash at all times.

They say the law means dogs need to be on a leash no longer than ten feet in all city and county public areas unless you’re in a designated off-leash spot.

There are hefty fines for not following the protocol. They say this reminder is important as temperatures begin to warm, and you decide to head out on our local trails to hike and bike.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
