HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Sunday was playtime for dogs at the Grand Strand Humane Society.
Staff and volunteers from the organization took 19 dogs to the beach on Sunday.

This time allowed the dogs to take a break from ‘shelter life’ while burning energy.
The organization has taken the dogs out on the beach before, saying the day leaves them with “full hearts.”
