A dog found abandoned last year in Des Moines has now found his fur-ever home.The Animal Rescue League first rescued the dog, now named Wally, from Des Moines’ south side in November. He was found taped inside a plastic trash bag and only weighed 23 pounds.No suspects in Wally’s case have been identified.Wally’s foster family decided to make him a permanent member of the family.
