Maybe not, we don’t know,” he said. “But if the gate worked and there were no holes in the fences like we were promised through the builders, through the HOA, the bylaws that they’re required to follow, maybe there would have been a better chance that they (the dogs) did not get in.”The homeowner claims the same issue they face at the front of the neighborhood is also present at the back. A white perimeter fence remains broken despite a request he submitted in 2023 to have it repaired.”We’ve had other stray dogs a lot in this community coming from that area, the dirt road,” said the neighbor.This resident is so frustrated after the recent attack that he’s now considering legal action against his HOA.We reached out to Specialty Management Company for a comment. They said they were aware of the issue. We asked for a timeline to fix the gate and fence and are still waiting to hear back.
