FRESNO CO, Calif. (FOX26) — Two dogs and one cat were killed in a house fire Wednesday morning in Fresno County.
The Fresno Fire Department says they were called out to a house on Holland Avenue, near Minewawa for calls of a house on fire.
They were assisted by Fresno County Fire and Clovis Fire.
They had to break the windows to ventilate the building and went into rescue mode.
They found two dogs and one cat dead inside.
The owners of the home were not home.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but majority of the fire damage was in the kitchen.
There was also smoke damage throughout the rest of the home.
