Are you a lover of Australian shepherds? How about Great Pyrenees? Then come and meet Goose, a 9-month-old Aussie/Great Pyrenees mix who currently weighs about 65 pounds. No doubt when he is fully grown Goose will be in the range of 75 to 80 pounds of beautiful beige and white fluff. He is a happy-go-lucky pup that is fully house trained, knows basic commands, and loves dogs, children and people. Goose currently lives with a German shepherd that is determined to be the only dog in the family, so his owner has decided that Goose deserves a home without the stress of an aggressive housemate. We are doing an owner-to-owner adoption for Goose in which he remains in his home while we help the family find a new, wonderful adopter. Call us at 508-548-7742 to meet this beautiful dog.
Lexi, a female Lab/shepherd mix, is available for adoption. She’s about 2 years old and has super-soft black fur down her back that becomes silvery on her sides. Playing with toys and walking with volunteers are two of her favorite things to do. Lexi can be a bit shy when meeting new people and definitely prefers women initially, but will warm up to men gradually. She has come to us because she did not always get along with her owner’s 11-year-old grandson and it broke the owner’s heart to give up this sweet dog. Lexi weighs 55 pounds, has been vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. If you’d like to meet Lexi, please call the shelter at 508-548-7742.
