House fire in Tampa traps two dogs inside, firefighters can only rescue one

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue crews responded to the fire on Saturday night at a house off Little River Drive.

TAMPA, Fla. — A serious house fire in Tampa trapped two dogs inside. According to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, only one was rescued.

After receiving multiple 911 calls from the homeowner, crews responded to the fire on Saturday night at a house off Little River Drive, rescuers said in a Facebook post.

The first-arriving crews reportedly entered the home immediately in an attempt to rescue the trapped dogs but had to get out after a partial roof collapse, according to the agency.

“Despite the challenging conditions, firefighters were able to rescue one of the dogs, but unfortunately, the second pet remained unaccounted for,” firefighters said.

The fire was eventually knocked down in under an hour after “an aggressive and well-coordinated fire attack,” crews said.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
