When Hank was rescued, he was transported to a local veterinary clinic and continues to receive medical care. Hank had lost around 77 pounds during the time he was left without food or water. The investigation found that the dog was abandoned for several weeks before it was first reported to police. Gratton is scheduled to appear in the Franklin County Superior Courthouse on Feb. 4, 2025, at 8:30 a.m.
