Cats and dogs are getting some ‘Howliday Magic’ on Christmas Eve at a local animal shelter – KBSI Fox 23 Cape Girardeau News

MURPHYSBORO, Ill. (KBSI) – Community members are bringing some ‘Howliday Magic’ to cats and dogs on Christmas Eve at a southern Illinois animal shelter.

St. Francis Community Animal Rescue & Education is holding its annual Christmas Eve Howliday Magic event. The event is meant to showcase the adult dogs and cats in shelter that are often passed over for adoption.

The public is invited to come to the compound area of St. Francis CARE where they will be providing sweets and beverages.

The organization encourages people to wear clothes appropriate for playing with animals and to bring toys and treats for the cats and dogs. They also suggest bringing a chair.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
