Residents report bank fraud, unwanted visitors and dogs: Russell Township police blotter

RUSSELL TOWNSHIP, Ohio —

Fraud, Thornapple Drive:

A man reported 5 a.m. Dec. 13 a fraud involving his bank account. He said his bank is investigating it. Information was gathered and documented with police help.

Disturbance, Cuyahoga Trail:

Police responded shortly after midnight Dec. 13 to a home where a guest was refusing to leave. Prior to arrival the complainant advised that the subject had left. No further action was requested.

Lost property, Chillicothe Road:

A man lost his wallet and pick-up truck key Dec. 12, possibly at the recycling center. He left his information at the police station in case someone finds the items.

Animals at large, Riddle Road:

With her neighbor’s two pug dogs in her yard a woman on crutches asked for police help1:02 p.m. Dec. 15 to catch them. She said she could not do it herself. Officers responded, collected the two dogs and returned them to their home. The dog owner was advised to keep their dogs on their property, or they would be charged in the future.
