South Florida dog trainer gifts dogs to veterans

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – A lifelong dog trainer is giving back this holiday season by gifting three fully-trained dogs to veterans.

John Toutloff, the former owner of ABC’s of Dog Training, has spent the last year training three stray dogs — Frankie, Coco, and Smoky — in various commands and hand signals.

Now, he’s offering them to veterans as emotional support pets.

“These dogs, they force the love on you,” Toutloff said, explaining that he hopes the dogs will provide companionship and support for those in need.

Each dog is spayed, housebroken and good with children and cats. The dogs are mixed-breeds, likely around two to three years old, and have been trained to perform at least seven commands.

“I just need to know they are going to good, great forever homes,” Toutloff said.

Interested veterans can apply by reaching out to Toutloff via email at fidobeta@gmail.com.

He will also train the new owners to ensure they can care for the dogs properly.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
