Family pleading for return emotional support dog they believe may have been stolen

Whoever took the Mini Goldendoodle, named Bisquit, removed his collar, which had an AirTag, and his owner’s contact information.

“I just really love him. He’s really special to me and I just really miss him,” said 9-year-old Abigail Garcia.

Bisquit is more than just a beloved pet to the Garcia family. He’s in training to be an emotional support dog for Abigail.

“He’s really good at reading her emotions, sensing that she needs to be comforted when she’s feeling anxiety or distress,” said Abigail’s mother Julia Garcia.

On Tuesday, two women in a white Jeep Cherokee rang Garcia’s doorbell within minutes of each other.

“Shortly after that, I saw some notification that our puppies were out,” Julia said. “I could see them in the front yard on the cameras.”

In the video, you can see Bisquit’s sister, Honey, running back towards the house. Julia checked Bisquit’s AirTag and it pinged in downtown Fulshear.

When Julia arrived minutes later, Bisquit was nowhere to be found. Then the AirTag pinged about two minutes away in front of the family’s subdivision.

“Another one of our neighbors found his collar on the other side of 1093,” said Julia.

“His collar includes an ID, which had his name and our phone number on it. It also has his AirTag on it. That’s when we found out somebody took him.”

The Garcia’s would like to identify and talk to the two women they think they may have seen something.

“We think they were probably Good Samaritans, just trying to help to get our dogs somewhere safe,” Julia said.

A report has been filed with the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.

A $3,500 reward is being offered.

“If it’s possible, I would want Bisquit back as a Christmas present,” Abigail said.

The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
