Dog Shot, Killed After Attack in Bethesda

Police said officers shot and killed a dog Wednesday after an attack in Bethesda left two women injured and another dog dead.

Officers responded to Heather Hill Road at about 10:35 a.m. for a reported dog attack, according to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD).

According to police, two dogs charged at another dog that was with its owner. One dog left but the other continued attacking the dog and killed it. Two women sustained non-life-threatening injuries while they tried to intervene and were taken to a hospital.

Officers shot and killed the dog as it charged at them, according to police.

The attacking dogs reportedly live in the neighborhood, police stated, and it is “unclear if their owner was present at the time of the incident.”

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
