How to watch Thanksgiving Day National Dog Show: Schedule, new breed to watch

1,940 dogs representing 205 breeds arrived to compete on the first day of the 2024 National Dog Show hosted by the Kennel Club of Philadelphia on Nov 16, 2024, at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pennsylvania. The event will air at noon until 2 p.m. in all time zones after the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade on Nov. 28, 2024, on NBC and Peacock.

The 2024 National Dog Show will air once again on NBC this Thanksgiving with longtime hosts John O’Hurley and David Frei reprising the roles as co-hosts. The pair have hosted the event every year since the show first started airing on NBC in 2002. 2024 will be the 92nd consecutive year that the event has taken place.

After Sealyham terrier, Stache, won Best in Show in 2023, hundreds of dogs will look to earn the title in 2024 and the grand prize of $20,000 that comes with it. Before they can earn that title though, they must first compete with dogs of their own breed for Best in Breed.
