17 dogs found living in a truck will be adoptable soon, shelter says

GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Kent Count Animal Shelter staff say they are readying 17 dogs for adoption after they were found living with a woman in a pickup truck in October.

The dogs, of various breeds, were discovered Oct. 14 as the pickup truck was parked in a Dollar Tree parking lot along Alpine Avenue NW. Someone had called 911 out of concern for the animals.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
