Casey Cadwallader Unveils Mugler’s Dynamic Fang Handbag
Mugler, under the creative direction of Casey Cadwallader, has announced the launch of The Fang, an innovative addition to its leather goods collection. Known for his modern interpretations of the brand’s iconic aesthetic, Cadwallader continues to push boundaries with a design that seamlessly merges structure and softness.
Crafted to offer versatility, The Fang features adjustable gussets, allowing it to transform from a sleek, compact profile to a wider, angular silhouette. The side panels, when extended, create dynamic shapes that embody Mugler’s bold and architectural identity. A fang-inspired custom hardware closure anchors the design, echoing the brand’s signature heels, and comes with a removable leather cover for added personalization.
The Fang is available in three luxurious finishes: black smooth leather, red pebbled leather, and black embossed lizard. Highlighting its forward-thinking craftsmanship, the bag includes a blockchain-based digital passport, accessed via a QR code. This feature provides detailed insights into the bag’s creation and serves as a verification of its authenticity.
The Fang will debut exclusively on Mugler’s online store in November 2024, followed by a broader global release in January 2025. Retail prices range from €1,190 to €1,390, positioning it as a standout piece for the modern luxury consumer.
