Bull Dogs pull away from Artesians, improve to 3-0

MARTINSVILLE — Columbus North ran its girls basketball record to 3-0 with a 42-33 win Thursday at Martinsville.

The Bull Dogs trailed 17-16 at halftime before taking a 27-26 lead after three quarters. North then pulled away by outscoring the Artesians 15-7 in the final period.

Kaylie Harmon led the Bull Dogs with 12 points. Hadassah Hurt scored nine, and Kenna Conrad added six.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse.
