Dynamo Dog and therapy dogs at free event in Conshohocken on November 14th

Renowned canine sports specialist, Gail Mirabella, along with her canine companions — the “Dynamo Dogs” — are set to entertain Conshohocken locals with their highly skilled trick, obstacle course, and flying disc routines. This performance, set for Thursday, Nov. 14 from 5-6:30 p.m., is free to all attendees and will take place on the courtyard green outside of Hotel West and Main, located at 46 Fayette
Street, Conshohocken.

The event will also include a special appearance by National Dog Show (on NBC Thanksgiving Day) co-host and expert analyst David Frei, who will meet and greet attendees, along with members of The National Dog Show Therapy Dog Ambassador Team. Frei has co-hosted NBC’s National Dog Show Presented by Purina since it began in 2002 and is considered one of America’s foremost experts on all things canine.

Mirabella, a local from Hatboro and a graduate of Upper Moreland High School, made a significant life decision when she left her position at Pfizer in 2006 to join the circus. This bold step led her to impressive success in the canine sports arena. Over the years, she has earned numerous accolades, including the prestigious title of “2008 Best Animal Act”. She is a mainstay for Purina-sponsored performances and has been a featured attraction at The National Dog Show at the Expo Center in Oaks for over 15 years.

Audiences can catch the “Dynamo Dogs” in action at two different showtimes: 5:15 and 6:10 p.m. There will be an opportunity to enter a free raffle to win National Dog Show tickets and hats. Free Purina dog towels will also be available while supplies last.

Frei, the author of two books on his experiences as a prominent advocate for the therapy dog movement, has succeeded in opening multiple major hospitals and healthcare institutions to therapy dog visitation as the movement has grown in recent decades. This Thanksgiving Day will mark his 50th major-event dog show telecast (Westminster and National Dog Show) as the primary connection between the public and the world of dogs. This no-cost event serves as a preview of the action dog attractions at the Kennel Club of Philadelphia’s National Dog Show weekend, Nov. 16 and 17, at the Expo Center in Oaks. The National Dog Show features some 1,900 of the nation’s top dogs representing almost 200 different breeds.

Tickets to the National Dog Show on Nov. 16-17 cost just $20 for adults, $10 for kids with three-and-under free are available at www.nds.nationaldogshow.com.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
