Annie is a 4-year-old female that was seized by the Athens County Humane Agent due to neglect. She came into the shelter underweight and very scared of humans. Poor Annie was also covered in fleas and her coat was greasy and missing fur.
In the months since, Annie has begun to recover physically and emotionally. She has really come alive! Annie now trusts the volunteers that walk her each day and has shown off a very goofy personality. She loves other dogs and begs them to play with the most exaggerated bows. When playing, Annie makes hilarious noises that can only be compared to Ewoks. Annie is much smaller than she looks in pictures and has an adorable tail that curls over her back.
Annie has been waiting far too long in the shelter. Can you help her find a family?
Please call the Athens County Dog Shelter at (740) 593-5415 to meet Annie.
