Firefighter hospitalized after Hermon blaze that left 2 dogs dead

A firefighter was taken to a local hospital after being injured while responding to a Hermon fire on Wednesday morning.

The fire at the end of George Road was reported around 11:30 a.m., WABI reported. The fire was reportedly contained to the kitchen.

The firefighter was not fatally injured.

Hermon Fire Chief Cody Sullivan said that two dogs died in the fire, according to WABI.

The house is damaged enough that it is not safe to live in, although the structure is not a total loss.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
