VANCOUVER, Wash. (KATU) — Two dogs are in search of permanent homes after being abandoned at a local fire station. The on-duty crew at the station named the pair Tom and Jerry.
Firefighters took the dogs for a walk, gave them a bath, and treated them to some delicious fire department food.
The dogs have since been turned over to the Humane Society of Southwest Washington, where they are now awaiting adoption.
