Cute, Funny, Amazing Dogs In Photos: 20 Winners Of Dog Photography Awards

Dog Photography Awards celebrating man’s (and woman’s) best friend has released the winning images of this year’s competition, chosen from thousands of photos entered by pet photographers from 60 countries.

From animals in action to heartwarming portraits, the Dog Photography Award winners highlight the beauty, resilience and downright goofiness of dogs across five diverse categories — Portrait, Action, Studio, Dogs & People and Documentary — while showcasing exceptional dog photographs from around the globe.

“Our mission is to celebrate the artistry of top dog photographers, uncover emerging talents, and showcase the extraordinary diversity and charm of dogs,” the organizers explain.

The competition was founded by Audrey Bellot and Claudio Piccoli, both professional photographers driven by their passion for dogs.

Regine Jensen‘s beautiful image “Moving in time” (above) places a white whippet named Rebelle in a billowing red cape. As it moves across the sand, the canine looks like a superhero proudly strolling about after completing a heroic rescue, making it a fitting winner of the Action category.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
