More than a dozen dogs found malnourished, two dead in Putnam County, deputies say

One person was arrested and another could be facing charges after more than a dozen dogs were found malnourished and two were found dead in Putnam County.

Deputies executed a search warrant Friday at a home in the 4000 block of Grandview Ridge Road in the Buffalo area after a visit by animal control.

The sheriff’s office said they found 20 dogs on the property, two of which were dead. A gun was also found during the search.

Edward Parsons is charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. Deputies said he also had an unrelated warrant out of Kanawha County.

The sheriff’s office said a woman is expected to be charged in relation to the dogs.

All of the living dogs were seized.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
