Dogs don their best costumes for annual ‘Howl’oween’ parade in Long Beach

It was a barking good time in Belmont Shore this weekend — and a spooky one at that.

Hundreds of dogs and their owners dressed up in their best costumes on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 27, for the 23rd annual Haute Dog Howl’oween Parade in front of the former Belmont Pool.

The costume parade, organized by Justin Rudd and his Community Action Team, has become a popular Long Beach tradition over the years, with more than 400 dogs expected to strut their stuff on Sunday. Thousands were expected to watch the parade.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
