Woman, dog found dead in Climax, suspect in custody

A woman and a dog were found dead in the Village of Climax, according to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office .

Deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of N. Main Street around 10 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, according to the department. Deputies arrested a suspect on the scene but have not released more information other than the suspect is currently in the Kalamazoo County Jail.

Charges are pending the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office says there is no threat to the public.

They have not released the victim or the suspect’s identities.
