Marlboro County Humane Society without dog food after break-ins

MARLBORO COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – No dog food is left at the Marlboro County Humane Society after someone broke in twice within the past week.

In a Facebook post, the Marlboro County Humane Society said someone had cut the lock twice within the last week and stole all the dog and puppy food the Humane Society had.

It takes roughly 100-125 pounds of dogs daily to feed the amount of dogs in their care.

The humane society has filed a police report and the Bennettsville Police and Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office said they will check the area.

A cash reward is being offered to anyone with information leading to the identity of the person who stole the food.

The humane society added that anyone interested in donating food can drop it off or have it shipped to the shelter at 242 Ag Street Bennettsville S.C. 29512.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
