Dozens of pets in Lee County now have a better chance of reuniting with their owners if they ever get separated.Lee County Domestic Animal Services said 58 pets were microchipped for free at the Check the Chip Day. It was held Thursday at the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Outreach Center at Miromar Outlets. The next one is Thursday, Nov. 14, at Gulf Coast Town Center. It will be at the LCSO Outreach Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
