CANTON — A fire early Thursday morning destroyed a kennel building in Canton, killing the animals inside.
According to the Canton Fire Department, the blaze was reported at 12:59 a.m. at Maple Ridge Kennels on State Highway 68. Firefighters arrived to find heavy flames coming from the building, which housed the No Dogs Left Behind operation.
