Temporary dog park closure

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – The City of Eau Claire Parks and Forestry Division will be temporarily closing one of their off-leash dog parks.

Between October 28 and November 3, 2024, Otter Creek Dog Park will be closed for maintenance. This park is located at 4503 House Road.

This scheduled maintenance includes installing a new concrete entrance, removing dead and dying trees, and removing invasive species and overgrowth along the fence line to repair the fence. The project is funded by the Community Parks Association.

The Parks Division says the other two off-leash dog parks, Sundet Dog Park at 4703 Robin Road and Southwest Dog Park at 1000 Ferry Street, will still be open.

For further questions, contact the Parks Division at 715-839-5039 or email communityservices@eauclairewi.gov.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
