Dogs Displaced by Hurricanes Officially Up for Adoption in Sheboygan

Dogs displaced to Sheboygan following the hurricanes are now officially up for adoption.

Following historic flooding across Eastern Tennessee, 12 dogs were transported from Knoxville to the Humane Society of Sheboygan County.

This allowed shelters in Tennessee to create space for the influx of pets, strays, and lost animals displaced by the storms.

Of the 12 dogs, one has already been adopted, meaning 11 remain looking for new homes. Staff and volunteers of the Humane Society, BISSELL pet Foundation, Lake Breeze Aviation, and Race for Life Rescue made the transport possible and successful.

More information on the remaining 11 dogs up for adoption from Tennessee can be found online at adoptsheboygancounty.org or on the Humane Society of Sheboygan County’s Facebook page.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
