ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – St. Louis Metropolitan Police rescued over 20 dogs, recovered multiple firearms and arrested a suspect during the search of a Baden neighborhood location.
According to SLMPD, the search was part of an investigation into animal cruelty. Police say all the animals that were rescued showed obvious signs of neglect and abuse.
The suspect was arrested at the location of the search for several charges including felony animal abuse, improper disposal of a deceased animal, and unlawful use of a weapon.
