BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – If you’re a fan of purse raffles, you might want to consider one this weekend hosted by Animal Charity of Ohio.
The Purses and Paws, a coffee and raffle event, is set for Saturday, June 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 8469 Southern Boulevard, Building 3, Boardman.
Proceeds will support Animal charity operations.
“It is going to be a chance raffle where you buy tickets for designer purses that we are so excited that we could have. There are almost 30 designer bags that are new from Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Juicy Couture,” said Jane MacMurchy with Animal Charity of Ohio.
In addition to the purse raffle, there will also be a 50/50 and basket raffles.
Recently Animal Charity of Ohio is working with evacuated residents of International Towers in downtown Youngstown to provide shelter for their pets while residents are away from their homes.
