UTICA — Amid rumors circulating across social media, city officials are looking to set the record straight on their efforts to handle Utica’s stray dog population.
The City of Utica has recently entered into a contractual agreement with Canastota-based Wanderers’ Rest Humane Association to assist with housing the city’s stray dog population — a change from the former agreement with Anita’s Stevens Swan Humane Society.
