Three dogs were rescued after falling into a pit being prepared for a sewage treatment plant in the village of Bolshaya Murta, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
The dogs were stuck in the pit for several days, until a firefighter got to the bottom of the pit.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations said that “two dogs trusted the rescuer without fear,” while the youngest animal took some convincing but was finally “also safely raised to the surface.”
