The Fairbanks Ice Dogs beat the visiting Janesville Jets on Saturday, ending 4-1.

The Ice Dogs started off strong and took the lead right after the puck drop with Arsenii Vorobev scoring in the first period, assisted by

The Ice Dogs’ Adam Timm increased the lead to 2-0 late in the first period, assisted by Justin Collins and

Thomas Corneillie

The Jets narrowed the gap to 2-1 early in the second period when

Christian Venticinque

netted one, assisted by

Noah Gibbs

and

Rylan Brady

.

Wyatt Carlson

made it 3-1 with a goal early in the third period, assisted by

Cole Burke

and

Nick Madsen

.

Arsenii Vorobev also made it 4-1 with a goal six minutes later, assisted by Justin Collins and Thomas Corneillie.
