Man, 3 dogs killed in fire at Northwest Dallas mobile home park

DALLASOne man and three dogs were killed in a fire at a mobile home park in Northwest Dallas.

Dallas Fire-Rescue was called to Lombardy Lane, near Harry Hines Boulevard, around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday.

When firefighters first arrived, they saw flames coming from the back of one of the mobile homes and two vehicles.

The fire spread, damaging multiple mobile homes and four vehicles.

Fire crews later discovered the body of an adult man inside one of the homes.

Three dogs were also killed in the fire.

“I heard a big boom from the front door and another one about halfway back, and the next thing I know, fire was breathing through the window, right at my bed, right next to where I’m sleeping,” said Gary Fisher who lost two of his dogs in the fire. “I got to the back door, there was so much smoke i could barely see, breathe and I fell out of that door. There’s no steps out of it so I hit the ground and my dogs weren’t following me, so they did not make it out alive.”

The American Red Cross says 6 mobile homes were destroyed or badly damaged, affecting 14 people.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
