BC Humane Society says potential adopters need to be patient with dogs taken from hoarding case

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — The Broome County Humane Society recently received 15 dogs from a large hoarding case in Madison, Fla.

In the case known as Operation Harvest Moon, 145 dogs and one kitten were shipped to shelters throughout the country.

The dogs received medical attention at the Human Society and will soon go up for adoption.

The Humane Society advised potential adopters that the dogs may take some time to readjust. Adopters will need to be patient.

“They have a longer way to go before they are completely domesticated,” said Shelter Manager Amberly Ondrea. “So, making sure you have the patience to teach them how to walk on a leash, that the world is not a scary place and housebreaking will be quite the project.”

The Humane Society encouraged volunteers to help out as the dogs get used to their new life.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
