Heartbreaking video: Dog tied to pole along Florida highway amid Milton evacuations

A Florida Highway Patrol trooper rescued a dog that was found tied up along the highway as Floridians rush to get out of the path of Hurricane Milton. According to FHP Tampa, the dog was tied to a pole along I-75 near Bruce B Downs Blvd Wednesday morning.Video shows the dog standing in the rain, in a pool of water. He growled and barked at the trooper as he approached, to which the trooper replied, “I don’t blame you. It’s okay buddy.””Do NOT do this to your pets please…,” the video was captioned.
