LOWVILLE, New York (WWNY) – Dogs paraded around the Lewis County Fairgrounds on Sunday for the annual Mutt Strut.
Pet owners registered their dogs for the award show and watched as they strutted around the arena. The event also had food and wine tastings to keep people engaged throughout the day.
This event works as a fundraiser for the Lewis County Humane Society. They were beyond grateful for the support they received this year.
“This is our biggest fundraiser of the year,” Mutt Strut organizer Cheryl Steiner said, “and just to have people come out and support us. We’re very appreciative of everybody who comes in and supports us.”
The Lewis County Humane Society is looking forward to next year’s big Mutt Strut.
