Sadie
The Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue Dog of the Week is Sadie, who has been waiting for her forever family to come along. Sadie arrived at the rescue in late spring. Sadie is a retriever mix, just a pup at only 1.5 years of age and weighs a little less than 70 pounds. Her breed mix is guessed to also contain some great dane and hound. Sadie is extremely friendly and affectionate with people, including children. She also gets along well with most other friendly and calm dogs, and cats, too, but doesn’t care for dogs that are very rambunctious and rowdy. As with all young dogs, she will need plenty of daily exercise and playtime, ongoing training, and lots of patience. Those looking for a larger dog who is ready and waiting for fun and adventure may find Sadie a good fit.
