Juliette woman charged as 4 dead dogs found in home

A Juliette woman was jailed after Monroe County Animal Control discovered four dead dogs and other dogs living in horrid conditions at a home on Laura Lane. According to the incident report, deputies Jason O’Steen and T. Jones met with animal control officer Lisa Holthaus at 140 Laura Lane and immediately smelled the strong odor of death. Sarah Eden Hirsh, 29, lived at the home but was at work. Sarah’s father, William Hirsh, who owns the home, and his daughter-in-law, Katherine Hirsh, were also at the scene.

Katherine told O’Steen that there were two adult dogs and eight puppies in the main house, but she wasn’t aware of any other dogs on the property. She said her husband Joseph had brought William over to feed and check on the dogs. She said that William had been in the hospital the last five days and had been worried that his daughter Sarah, who owns the dogs, had not been there to take care of them. Katherine said that Joseph had been upset by the state of the dogs and the home, so she contacted a friend who works with animal rescue, who in turn contacted Monroe County Animal Control.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
